I’ve had a great time playing with ESRI Online’s Story Map feature. Here are a few of the maps I’ve created so far. Stay tuned for more!
A Brief History of the Industrial Revolution – This Story Map highlights an NEH Summer Seminar tour I took in 2010 called “Historical Interpretations of the Industrial Revolution in Britain“. It was an intense 5 weeks, but it was incredibly rewarding. This is a rather long Story Map, but I think it would be appropriate for use in a high school World History course, particularly an AP World or European History course.
Oh Mother, Where Are We? – Our family’s odyssey through the Mississippi Delta region, Blues and Tamales. This isn’t intended to be a Story Map for use in class, but if you feel it is appropriate, feel free.
